The LTC1622 is a constant frequency current mode step-down DC/DC controller providing excellent AC and DC load and line regulation. The device incorporates an accurate undervoltage feature that shuts the LTC1622 down when the input voltage falls below 2V.The LTC1622 boasts a ?1.9% output voltage accuracy and consumes only 350?A of quiescent current. For applications where efficiency is a prime consideration and the load current varies from light to heavy, the LTC1622 can be configured for Burst Mode? operation. Burst Mode operation enhances low current efficiency and extends battery run time. Burst Mode operation is inhibited during synchronization or when the SYNC/MODE pin is pulled low to reduce noise and possible RF interference.High constant operating frequency of 550kHz allows the use of a small inductor. The device can also be synchronized up to 750kHz for special applications. The high frequency operation and the available 8-lead MSOP package create a high performance solution in an extremely small amount of PCB area.To further maximize the life of the battery source, the P-channel MOSFET is turned on continuously in dropout (100% duty cycle). In shutdown, the device draws a mere 15?A.Applications 1- or 2-Cell Li-Ion Powered Applications Cellular Telephones Wireless Modems Portable Computers Distributed 3.3V, 2.5V or 1.8V Power Systems Scanners Battery-Powered Equipment

The pros and cons of each configuration can be found in the data sheet.  The DC2339A targets high power LEDs and laser diodes (not included). The 3 LEDs are driven from the same output, but each LED is individually controlled. The input voltage range is 5.5V to 30V.

LT1613CS5 LT1611CS5 | 1.4MHz, SOT-23 DC-DC Converter, 3 Circuits: LT1613 Boost and SEPIC, LT1611 Inverter

Analog Devices Inc.
The LT1611 and LT1613 are 5-lead SOT-23, current mode DC/DC converters. Intended for small, low power applications, both operate from inputs as low as 1V and switch at 1.4MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low cost capacitors and inductors. DC233 contains three switching regulator circuits. Two of these demonstrate the use of the LT1613CS5 in a simple boost regulator circuit and in an uncoupled SEPIC circuit. Both circuits produce 3.3V or 5V (jumper selected). The boost circuit produces 200mA in a typical application and occupies less than 0.2 square inches of circuit board area. The SEPIC circuit allows operation from input voltages either higher or lower than the output, making this circuit suitable for single Li-Ion cell to 3.3V conversion or four alkaline cells to 5V conversion. Typical output current for the SEPIC circuit is 120mA. The third circuit demonstrates the LT1611CS5 in a low noise inverting circuit. This circuit can convert 5V to –5V at 160mA.

The LTC2937 is a 6-channel power supply sequencer and voltage supervisor. Supplies are enabled or disabled with precise user controlled order and time spacing. To detect power supply output faults during sequencing and monitoring, the LTC2937 accurately monitors supply turn-on/-off delays and output voltage levels. In the event of a fault, response actions include complete power supply shutdown and optional restarts. Root cause of power faults are logged to EEPROM. For systems with high supply count, a simple single wire connection between multiple LTC2937 devices allows sequencing expansion to 300 supplies. After successful sequencing and supply voltage stabilization, the reset output pulls high to initiate microprocessor or other system activity. To accommodate supply margin testing, the reset output can be disabled. Upon supply turn-off, integrated current sources are available as needed to discharge slowly decaying supplies. Configuration EEPROM supports autonomous operation without software.Applications Network Servers Data Storage Systems Telecom Equipment High Availability Computer Systems

The LTC5586 is a direct conversion quadrature demodulator optimized for high linearity zero-IF and low-IF receiver applications in the 300MHz to 6GHz frequency range. The very wide IF bandwidth of more than 1GHz makes the LTC5586 particularly suited for demodulation of very wide-band signals, especially in Digital Pre-Distortion (DPD) applications. The outstanding dynamic range of the LTC5586 makes the device suitable for demanding infrastructure direct conversion applications. Proprietary technology inside the LTC5586 provides the capability to optimize OIP2 to 80dBm, and achieve image rejection better than 60dB. The DC offset control function allows nulling of the DC offset at the A/D converter input, thereby optimizing the dynamic range of true zero-IF receivers that use DC coupled IF signal paths. The wide-band RF and LO input ports make it possible to cover all the major wireless infrastructure frequency bands using a single device. The IF outputs of the LTC5586 are designed to interface directly with most common A/D converter input interfaces. The high OIP3 and high conversion gain of the device eliminate the need for additional amplifiers in the IF signal path.Applications 4G and 5G Base Station Receivers Wideband DPD Receivers Point-To-Point Broadband Radios High Linearity Direct Conversion I/Q Receivers Image Rejection Receivers

The LTC5589 is a direct conversion I/Q modulator designed for low power wireless applications that enables direct modulation of differential baseband I and Q signals on an RF carrier. Single side-band modulation or side-band suppressed upconversion can be achieved by applying 90? phase-shifted signals to the I and Q inputs. The I/Q baseband input ports can be either AC or DC coupled to a source with a common mode voltage level of about 1.4V. The SPI interface controls the supply current, modulator gain, and allows adjustments of I and Q gain and phase imbalance to optimize the LO carrier feedthrough and side-band suppression. The LO port can be driven with sine wave or square wave LO drive. A fixed LC network on the LO and RF ports covers 700MHz to 6GHz operating range. An on-chip thermometer can be activated to compensate for gain-temperature variations. More accurate temperature measurements can be made using an on-chip diode. In addition, a continuous analog gain control (VCTRL) pin can be used for fast power control.Applications Wireless Microphones Battery Powered Radios Vector Modulator 2.45GHz and 5.8GHz Transmitters Software Defined Radios (SDR) Military Radios

The LTC7860 high efficiency surge stopper protects loads from high voltage transients. High efficiency permits higher currents and smaller solution sizes. During an input overvoltage event, such as a load dump in vehicles, the LTC7860 controls the gate of an external MOSFET to act as a switching DC/DC regulator (PROTECTIVE PWM mode). This operation regulates the output voltage to a safe level, allowing the loads to operate through the input over-voltage event. During normal operation (SWITCH-ON mode), the LTC7860 turns on the external MOSFET continuously, passing the input voltage through to the output. An internal comparator limits the voltage across the current sense resistor and regulates the maximum output current to protect against overcurrent faults. An adjustable timer limits the time that the LTC7860 can spend in overvoltage or overcurrent regulation. When the timer expires, the external MOSFET is turned off until the LTC7860 restarts after a cool down period. By strictly limiting the time in PROTECTIVE PWM Mode when the power loss is high, the components and thermal design can be optimized for normal operation and safely operate through high voltage input surges and/or overcurrent faults. An additional PMOS can be added for reverse battery protection.Applications Industrial and Automotive Power Telecom Power Vehicle Power Including ISO7637 Military Power Including MIL1275
