DC894C-B

Analog Devices Inc.
The LT3825 is an isolated switching regulator controller designed for medium power flyback topologies. A typical application is 10W to 60W with input voltage limited only by external power path components. A third transformer winding provides output voltage feedback. The LT3825 is a current mode controller that regulates output voltage based on sensing secondary voltage via a transformer winding during flyback. This allows for tight output regulation without the use of an opto-isolator, improving dynamic response and reliability. Synchronous rectification increases converter efficiency and improves output cross regulation in multiple output converters. The LT3825 operates in forced continuous conduction mode which improves cross regulation in multiple winding applications. Switching frequency is user programmable and can be externally synchronized. The part also has load compensation, undervoltage lockout and soft-start circuity.Applications Isolated Medium Power (10W to 60W) Supplies Isolated Telecom, Medical Converters Instrumentation Power Supplies Isolated Power over Ethernet Supplies

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC3204-3.3/LTC3204-5/LTC3204B-3.3/LTC3204B-5 are low noise, constant frequency (1.2MHz) switched capacitor voltage doublers. The LTC3204-3.3/ LTC3204B-3.3 can produce a regulated output voltage of 3.3V from a minimum input voltage of 1.8V (2 alkaline cells) whereas the LTC3204-5/LTC3204B-5 can produce 5V from a minimum of 2.7V (Li-Ion battery) input.LTC3204-3.3/LTC3204-5 feature automatic Burst Mode? operation at light loads to maintain low supply current whereas LTC3204B-3.3/LTC3204B-5 feature constant frequency operation at any load. Thermal shutdown and current-limit circuitry allow the parts to survive a continuous short-circuit from VOUT to GND.High switching frequency minimizes overall solution footprint by allowing the use of tiny ceramic capacitors. In shutdown, the load is disconnected from the input and the quiescent current is reduced to

LTC3204BEDC-3.3 Demo Board | Low Noise Regulated Charge Pump in 2x2 DFN, VIN = 1.8V to 4.5V, VOUT = 3.3V/(40 to 50mA Max)

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 916 is a low noise regulated charge pump featuring the LTC3204B (constant frequency switching) in the 2X2 DFN package. There are two assembly versions, DC916A-A and DC916A-B for the LTC3204B-5 (5V output) and LTC3204B-3.3 (3.3V output) respectively. The DC916A-B produces a regulated 3.3V output from a 1.8V to 4.5V input. The guaranteed output current is 50mA from VIN between 1.9V and 4.5V, and 40mA for VIN less than 1.9V. The circuit requires only three tiny 0603 surface mount capacitors and uses minimal board space. No inductor or diodes are needed. The circuit features automatic Burst Mode® operation at light loads to maintain low supply current.

LT3489EMS8E Demo Board | Triple Output, Boost Plus 23V Charge Pump & -8V Inverting Charge Pump

Analog Devices Inc.
Demonstration circuit 925 features the LT3489EMS8E in a circuit specifically designed to drive large TFT/LCD displays. The demo circuit demonstrates small size and low component count in a Boost Circuit. It converts a 3.3V-6V input to 8V at 600mA, 23V at 10mA and -8V at 20mA. Since the maximum Vin of the LT3489 is 16V, this Demo circuit will work well at higher inputs. The only limitation is that the input has to be lower than the Boost converter output (8V) in order to stay in regulation. This circuit is designed to demonstrate the capacitor programmable Soft-Start feature, advantages of the 2MHz constant switching frequency and the internal 2.5A, 40V switch.

Analog Devices Inc.
The HMC6545 is a low power, high performance, fullyprogrammable, dual-channel, asynchronous advanced linear equalizer that operates at data rates of up to 32 Gbps. The HMC6545 is protocol and data rate agnostic, and it can operateon the transmit path to predistort a transmitted signal to invert channel distortion or on the receiver path to equalize the distorted and attenuated received signal. The HMC6545 iseffective in dealing with chromatic and polarization modedispersion and intersymbol interference (ISI) caused by a widevariety of transmission media (backplane or fiber) and channel lengths. The HMC6545 consists of an automatic gain control (AGC);dc offset correction circuitry; a 9-tap, 18 ps spaced feedforward equalizer (FFE); a summing node; and a linear programmableoutput driver. The input AGC linearly attenuates or amplifiesthe distorted input signal to generate a constant voltage at theinput of the FFE. The 9-tap FFE is programmed via 2-wire interface to generate wide range frequency responses that are precursor or postcursor in nature for compensating signal impairments. After FFE tap coefficients are summed at thesumming node, the signal is received by a linear output driver.DC offset correction circuitry is controlled either automatically or manually via Forward Error Correction (FEC).All high speed differential inputs and outputs of the HMC6545 arecurrent mode logic (CML) and terminated on chip with 50 ? tothe positive supply, 3.3 V, and can be dc-coupled or ac-coupled. The inputs and outputs of the HMC6545 can be operated eitherdifferentially or single-ended. The low power, high performance, and feature rich HMC6545 is packaged in a 5 mm ? 5 mm,32-lead LFCSP package. The device uses a single 3.3 V supply, eliminating external regulators. The HMC6545 operates over a?40?C to +95?C temperature range.Applications 40 Gbps/100 Gbps DQPSK direct detection receivers Short and long reach CFP2 and QSFP+ modules CEI-28G MR and CEI-25G LR 100 GE line cards 16 Gbps and 32 Gbps Fibre Channel Infiniband 14 Gbps FDR and 28 Gbps EDR rates Signal conditioning for backplane and line cards Broadband test and measurement equipment
