EVAL-ADUM3481EBZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADuM3480 / ADuM3481 / ADuM3482 are quad-channel digital isolators based on the Analog Devices, Inc.,iCoupler? technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technology, these isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics superior to alternatives such as optocoupler devices and other integrated couplers. With typical propagation delay reduced to 25 ns, pulse width distortion is also halved. The four channels of the ADuM3480 / ADuM3481 / ADuM3482 are available in a variety of channel configurations with two data rate grades up to 25 Mbps (see the Ordering Guide section). All models use separate core and I/O power supplies. The core operates between 3.0 V and 5.5 V, whereas the I/O supply can range from 1.8 V to 5.5 V. If operation is required within the range of the core supply, the two supplies can be tied together to allow single-supply operation. When the I/O must interface with logic levels that are different from the core supply voltage, then the I/O supply can be operated independently of the core supply over a wider range. The minimum I/O supply voltage is 1.8 V, allowing compatibility with low voltage logic. Both core and I/O supplies are required for proper operation.APPLICATIONS General-purpose multichannel isolation SPI interface/data converter isolation Industrial field bus isolation

ADP2301-EVALZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The ADP2300?/ ADP2301 are compact, constant-frequency, current-mode, step-down dc-to-dc regulators with integrated power MOSFET. The ADP2300/ADP2301 devices run from any input voltage from 3.0 V up to 20 V, making them suitable for a wide range of applications. A precise, low voltage internal reference makes these devices ideal for generating a regulated output voltage as low as 0.8 V, with ?2% accuracy, for up to 1.2 A load current. There are two frequency options: the ADP2300 runs at 700 kHz and the ADP2301 runs at 1.4 MHz. These options allow users to make decisions based on the trade-off between efficiency and the size of the total solution. Current-mode control provides fast and stable line and load transient performance. Each ADP2300/ ADP2301 device includes an internal soft start to prevent inrush current at power up. Other key safety features include short-circuit protection, thermal shutdown (TSD) and input undervoltage lockout (UVLO). Precision enable pin threshold voltage allows ADP2300/ADP2301 to be easily sequenced from other input/ output supplies, or the enable pin can be used as a programmable UVLO input by using resistive divider. The ADP2300/ADP2301 are available in a 6-lead TSOT package and are rated for the ?40?C to +125?C junction temperature range.APPLICATIONS LDO replacement for digital load applications Intermediate power rail conversion Communications and networking Industrial and instrumentation Healthcare and Medical Consumer

DC2071A-B

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC2372-18 is a low noise, high speed, 8-channel 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) ADC. Operating from a single 5V supply, the LTC2372-18 has a highly configurable, low crosstalk 8-channel input multiplexer, supporting fully differential, pseudo-differential unipolar and pseudo-differential bipolar analog input ranges. The LTC2372-18 achieves ?2.75LSB INL (maximum) in all input ranges, no missing codes at 18-bits and 100dB (fully differential)/ 95dB (pseudo-differential) SNR (typical). The LTC2372-18 has an onboard low drift (20ppm/?C max) 2.048V temperature-compensated reference and a single-shot capable reference buffer. The LTC2372-18 also has a high speed SPI-compatible serial interface that supports 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and 5V logic through which a sequencer with a depth of 16 may be programmed. An internal oscillator sets the conversion time, easing external timing considerations. The LTC2372-18 dissipates only 27mW and automatically naps between conversions, leading to reduced power dissipation that scales with the sampling rate. A sleep mode is also provided to reduce the power consumption of the LTC2372-18 to 300?W for further power savings during inactive periods.Applications Programmable Logic Controllers Industrial Process Control High Speed Data Acquisition Portable or Compact Instrumentation ATE

EVAL-AD7194EBZ

Analog Devices Inc.
The AD7194 is a low noise, complete analog front end for high precision measurement applications. It contains a low noise, 24-bit sigma-delta (?-?) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The on-chip low noise gain stage means that signals of small amplitude can interface directly to the ADC.The device can be configured to have eight differential inputs or sixteen pseudo differential inputs. The on-chip 4.92 MHz clock can be used as the clock source to the ADC or, alternatively, an external clock or crystal can be used. The output data rate from the part can be varied from 4.7 Hz to 4.8 kHz.The device has a very flexible digital filter, including a fast settling option. Variables such as output data rate and settling time are dependent on the option selected. For applications that require all conversions to be settled, the AD7194 includes zero latency. The part operates with a power supply from 3 V to 5.25 V. It consumes a current of 4.65 mA, and it is housed in a 32-lead LFCSP package.Applications PLC/DCS analog input modules Data acquisition Strain gage transducers Pressure measurement Temperature measurement Flow measurement Weigh scales Chromatography Medical and scientific instrumentation

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC4009 is a constant-current/constant-voltage battery charger controller. It uses a synchronous quasiconstant frequency PWM control architecture that will not generate audible noise with ceramic bulk capacitors. Charge current is set by the combination of external sense, input and programming resistors. With no built-in termination, the LTC4009 family charges a wide range of batteries under external control. The LTC4009 features a fully adjustable output voltage, while the LTC4009-1 and LTC4009-2 can be pin-programmed for lithium-ion/polymer battery packs of 1-, 2-, 3- or 4-series cells. The LTC4009-1 provides output voltage of 4.1V/cell, and the LTC4009-2 is a 4.2V/cell version. The device includes AC adapter input current limiting which maximizes the charge rate for a fixed input power level. An external sense resistor programs the input current limit, and the ICL status pin indicates when the battery charge current is being reduced as a result of AC adapter current limiting. The CHRG status pin is active during all charging modes, including special indication for low charge current.Applications Notebook Computers Portable Instruments Battery Backup Systems
