MAX6377UR23+T

Part Number : MAX6377UR23+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX6375-MAX6380 are ultra-low-power circuits used for monitoring battery, power-supply, and regulated system voltages. Each detector contains a precision bandgap reference, comparator, and internally trimmed resistors that set specified trip threshold voltages. These devices provide excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when monitoring nominal system voltages from 2.5V to 5V.These circuits perform a single function: they assert an output signal whenever the VCC supply voltage falls below a preset threshold. The devices are differentiated by their output logic configurations and preset threshold voltages. The MAX6375/MAX6378 (push-pull) and MAX6377/MAX6380 (open-drain) have an active-low output (active-low OUT is logic low when VCC is below VTH). The MAX6376/MAX6379 have an active-high push-pull output (OUT is logic high when VCC is below VTH). All parts are guaranteed to be in the correct output logic state for VCC down to 1V. The detector is designed to ignore fast transients on VCC. The MAX6375/MAX6376/ MAX6377 have voltage thresholds between 2.20V and 3.08V in approximately 100mV increments. The MAX6378/MAX6379/MAX6380 have voltage thresholds between 3.30V and 4.63V in approximately 100mV increments.Ultra-low supply current of 500nA (MAX6375/MAX6376/MAX6377) makes these parts ideal for use in portable equipment. All six devices are available in a space-saving SC70 package or in a tiny SOT23 package.ApplicationsLoad Switching/Power SequencingPortable Battery-Powered EquipmentPower-Supply Monitoring in Digital/Analog SystemsPrecision Battery Monitoring

MAX6650EUB+

Part Number : MAX6650EUB+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX6650/MAX6651 fan controllers use an SMBus/I²C-compatible interface to regulate and monitor the speed of 5VDC/12VDC brushless fans with built-in tachometers. They automatically force the fan's tachometer frequency (fan speed) to match a preprogrammed value in the Fan-Speed Register by using an external MOSFET or bipolar transistor to linearly regulate the voltage across the fan. The MAX6650 regulates the speed of a single fan by monitoring its tachometer output. The MAX6651 also regulates the speed of a single fan, but it contains additional tachometer inputs to monitor up to four fans and control them as a single unit when they are used in parallel. The MAX6650/MAX6651 provide general-purpose input/output (GPIO) pins that serve as digital inputs, digital outputs, or various hardware interfaces. Capable of sinking 10mA, these open-drain inputs/outputs can drive an LED. To add additional hardware control, configure GPIO1 to fully turn on the fan in case of software failure. To generate an interrupt when a fault condition is detected, configure GPIO0 to behave as an active-low alert output. Synchronize multiple devices by setting GPIO2 (MAX6651 only) as an internal clock output or an external clock input. The MAX6650 is available in a space-saving 10-pin µMAX® package, and the MAX6651 is available in a small 16-pin QSOP package.ApplicationsComputers: Desktop, Workstation, ServerNetworkingRAIDServersTelecommunicationsWorkstations

These devices significantly improve system reliability and accuracy compared to separate ICs or discrete components. The MAX6701—MAX6708 family provides four functions: a reset output during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions; an independent watchdog output that goes low if the watchdog input has not been toggled within 1.6s; a 0.62V threshold detector for power-fail warning; and an active-low manual reset input. The MAX6701—MAX6708 family offers several pinout options to accommodate a variety of multivoltage microprocessor supervision applications. The MAX6701(A)/MAX6702(A)/MAX6703(A) monitor three supply voltages (one fixed threshold and two adjustable) to drive a single reset output and include a manual reset input and a watchdog timer with an independent output. The MAX6704 monitors a single-supply voltage to drive complementary reset outputs and includes an independent adjustable power-fail-in/power-fail-out comparator, a manual reset input, and a reset-based watchdog timer. The MAX6705(A)/MAX6706(A)/MAX6707(A) monitor a single-supply voltage to drive a single reset output and include an independent adjustable power-fail-in/power-fail-out comparator, a manual reset input, and a watchdog timer with an independent output. The MAX6708 is the same as the MAX6704 but without the watchdog timer function.See the Detailed Description for differences between non-A and A versions.ApplicationsComputersControllersCritical µP Power MonitoringIntelligent InstrumentsNetworkingTelecommunicationsWhite Goods

These devices significantly improve system reliability and accuracy compared to separate ICs or discrete components. The MAX706P/R/S/T and MAX706AP/AR/AS/AT supervisory circuits provide the following four functions:1) A reset output during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions.2) An independent watchdog output that goes low if the watchdog input has not been toggled within 1.6s.3) A 1.25V threshold detector for power-fail warning, low-battery detection, or for monitoring a power supply other than the main supply.4) An active-low, manual-reset input. The only difference between the MAX706R/AR, MAX706S/AS, and MAX706T/AT is the reset-threshold voltage levels, which are 2.63V, 2.93V, and 3.08V, respectively. All have active-low reset output signals. The MAX706P/AP are identical to the MAX706R/AR, except the reset output signal is active-high. The watchdog timer function for the MAX706AP/AR/AS/AT disables when the WDI input is left open or connected to a high-impedance state of a low-leakage tri-state output. The MAX708R/S/T provide the same functions as the MAX706R/S/T and MAX706AR/AS/AT except they do not have a watchdog timer. Instead, they provide both active-low RESET and RESET outputs. As with the MAX706, devices with R, S, and T suffixes have reset thresholds of 2.63V, 2.93V, and 3.08V, respectively. These devices are available in 8-pin SO, DIP, and µMAX® packages and are fully specified over the operating temperature range.ApplicationsBattery-Powered EquipmentComputersControllersCritical µP Power MonitoringIntelligent InstrumentsPortable Instruments
