LTC1628IG-PG#PBF

Part Number : LTC1628IG-PG#PBF

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC1628/LTC1628-PG are high performance dual step-down switching regulator controllers that drive all N-channel synchronous power MOSFET stages. A constant frequency current mode architecture allows adjustment of the frequency up to 300kHz. Power loss and noise due to the ESR of the input capacitors are minimized by operating the two controller output stages out of phase.OPTI-LOOP compensation allows the transient response to be optimized over a wide range of output capacitance and ESR values. The precision 0.8V reference and power good output indicator are compatible with future microprocessor generations, and a wide 3.5V to 30V (36V maximum) input supply range encompasses all battery chemistries.A RUN/SS pin for each controller provides both soft-start and optional timed, short-circuit shutdown. Current foldback limits MOSFET dissipation during short-circuit conditions when overcurrent latchoff is disabled. Output overvoltage protection circuitry latches on the bottom MOSFET until VOUT returns to normal. The FCB mode pin can select among Burst Mode, constant frequency mode and continuous inductor current mode or regulate a secondary winding. The LTC1628-PG includes a power good output pin that replaces the FLTCPL, fault coupling control pin of the LTC1628.Applications Notebook and Palmtop Computers, PDAs Battery Chargers Portable Instruments Battery-Operated Digital Devices DC Power Distribution Systems

LTC1643AHCGN#PBF

Part Number : LTC1643AHCGN#PBF

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC1643A is a Hot Swap™ controller that allows a board to be safely inserted and removed from a live PCI-Bus slot. Two external N-channel transistors control the 3.3V and 5V supplies while on-chip switches control the –12V and 12V supplies. All supply voltages can be ramped up at a programmable rate. An electronic circuit breaker protects all four supplies against overcurrent faults. The foldback current limit feature limits current spikes and power dissipation when shorts occur and allows boards with large capacitances to be powered up without tripping the circuit breaker. The PWRGD output indicates when all of the supply voltages are within tolerance and the FAULT output indicates an overcurrent condition. The ON(LTC1643AH)/ON (LTC1643AL/ LTC1643AL-1) pin is used to cycle the board power or reset the circuit breaker. The LTC1643AL-1 has the ±12V power good comparators disabled. The LTC1643A is available in a 16-pin narrow SSOP package.Applications PCI-Based Servers CompactPCI Compliant Boards

LTC1690CMS8#PBF

Part Number : LTC1690CMS8#PBF

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC1690 is a low power receiver/driver pair that is compatible with the requirements of RS485 and RS422. The receiver offers a fail-safe feature that guarantees a high receiver output state when the inputs are left open, shorted together or terminated with no signal present. No external components are required to ensure the high receiver output state. Separate driver output and receiver input pins allow full duplex operation. Excessive power dissipation caused by bus contention or faults is prevented by a thermal shutdown circuit which forces the driver outputs into a high impedance state. The LTC1690 is fully specified over the commercial and industrial temperature ranges. The LTC1690 is available in 8-Pin SO, MSOP and PDIP packages. Applications Battery-Powered RS485/RS422 Applications Low Power RS485/RS422 Transceiver Level Translator Line Repeater

LTC1753CG#PBF

Part Number : LTC1753CG#PBF

Analog Devices Inc.
The LTC1753 is a high power, high efficiency switching regulator controller optimized for 5V input to a digitally programmable 1.3V-3.5V output. The internal 5-bit DAC programs the output voltage from 1.3V to 2.05V in 50mV increments and from 2.1V to 3.5V in 100mV increments. The precision internal reference and an internal feedback system provide an output accuracy of ±1.5% at room temperature and typically ±2% over temperature, load current and line voltage shifts. The LTC1753 uses a synchronous switching architecture with two external N-channel output devices, providing high efficiency and eliminating the need for a high power, high cost P-channel device. Additionally, it senses the output current across the on-resistance of the upper N-channel FET, providing an adjustable current limit without an external low value sense resistor. The LTC1753 free-runs at 300kHz and can be synchronized to a faster external clock if desired. It provides a phase lead compensation scheme and under harsh loading conditions, the PWM duty cycle can be momentarily forced to 0% or 100% to reduce the output voltage recovery time.Applications Power Supply for Pentium® III, AMD-K6®-2, SPARC, ALPHA and PA-RISC Microprocessors High Power 5V to 1.3V-3.5V Regulators

MAX1403EAI+

Part Number : MAX1403EAI+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX1403 18-bit, low-power, multichannel, serial-output analog-to-digital converter (ADC) features matched 200µA current sources for sensor excitation. This ADC uses a sigma-delta modulator with a digital decimation filter to achieve 16-bit accuracy. The digital filter's user-selectable decimation factor allows the conversion resolution to be reduced in exchange for a higher output data rate. True 16-bit performance is achieved at an output data rate of up to 480sps. In addition, the modulator sampling frequency may be optimized for either lowest power dissipation or highest throughput rate. The MAX1403 operates from +3V.This device offers three fully differential input channels that may be independently programmed with a gain between +1V/V and +128V/V. Furthermore, it can compensate an input-referred DC offset up to 117% of the selected full-scale range. These three differential channels may also be configured to operate as five pseudo-differential input channels. Two additional, fully differential system-calibration channels are provided for gain and offset error correction. The MAX1403 can be configured to sequentially scan all signal inputs and provide the results via the serial interface with minimum communications overhead. When used with a 2.4576MHz or 1.024MHz master clock, the digital decimation filter can be programmed to produce zeros in its frequency response at the line frequency and associated harmonics, ensuring excellent line rejection without the need for further postfiltering. The MAX1403 is available in a 28-pin SSOP package.ApplicationsLoop-Powered SystemsPortable Industrial InstrumentsPortable Weight ScalesPressure Sensors and Transducers
