Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX3804 driver with integrated analog equalizer compensates up to 20dB of loss at 5GHz. It is designed to ensure PC board signal integrity up to 12.5Gbps, where frequency-dependent skin effect and dielectric losses typically produce unacceptable amounts of intersymbol interference. The MAX3804 can extend the practical chip-to-chip transmission distance for 10Gbps NRZ serial data up to 30in (0.75m) on FR-4, and it significantly decreases deterministic jitter. Residual jitter after equalization for 10.7Gbps signals is typically 24psP-P on the maximum path length. The MAX3804 is ideal for 10Gbps chip-to-chip serial interconnections on inexpensive FR-4 material. Its 3mm x 3mm package affords optimal placement and routing flexibility. It has separate VCC connections for internal logic and current-mode logic (CML) I/O. This allows the CML input and output to be referenced to isolated supplies, providing independent DC-coupled interfacing to 1.8V, 2.5V, or 3.3V ICs. Eight discrete levels of input equalization can be selected through a digital control input, enabling the equalizer to be matched to a range of transmission line path loss. When correctly set to match the path loss, the MAX3804 provides optimal performance over a wide range of data rates and formats.ApplicationsHigh-Speed Signal DistributionOC-192 and 10Gb Ethernet Serial ModulesOC-192 and 10Gb Ethernet Switches and Routers

These analog switchesoperate from a single +1.8V to +5.5V supply and havelow 0.6Ω on-resistance, making them ideal for switchingaudio signals. The MAX4763/MAX4765 include a comparator that canbe used for headphone detection or a mute/send keyfunction. The MAX4764/MAX4764A/MAX4765 have aninternal shunt switch to automatically discharge anycapacitance at the NO and NC connection points. Thisreduces click-and-pop sounds that occur when switchingaudio signals between precharged points. These SPDT switches are available in space-savingµMAX®, TDFN, thin QFN, and UCSP™ packages andoperate over the -40°C to +85°C extended temperaturerange.ApplicationsCell PhonesMP3 PlayersNotebook ComputersPDAs and Other Handheld Devices

MAX4798EUK+T

Part Number : MAX4798EUK+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX4795–MAX4798 family of switches feature internal current limiting to prevent damage to host devices due to faulty load conditions. These analog switches have a low 0.2Ω on-resistance and operate from a 2.0V to 4.5V input voltage range. They are available with guaranteed 450mA and 500mA current limits, making them ideal for SDIO and other load-switching applications. When the switch is on and a load is connected to the port, a guaranteed blanking time of 14ms ensures the transient voltages settle down. If after this blanking time, the load current is greater than the current limit, the MAX4795 and MAX4797 switches are turned off and active-low FLAG is issued to the microprocessor. The switch can be turned on again by cycling the power or the ON input. The MAX4796 and MAX4798 have an autoretry feature where the switch turns off and issues an active-low FLAG to the microprocessor after the blanking time and then continuously checks to see if the overload condition is present. The switch remains on after the overload condition disappears and active-low FLAG deasserts. The MAX4795–MAX4798 are available in tiny, space-saving, 5-pin SOT23 and 6-pin TDFN (3mm x 3mm) packages.ApplicationsCell PhonesGlobal Positioning Systems (GPS)Handheld DevicesPDAs and Palmtop DevicesSDIO
