MAX33054EASA+T

Part Number : MAX33054EASA+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX33053E and MAX33054E are +3.3V CAN (Control Area Network) transceivers with integrated protection for industrial applications. These devices have extended ±65V fault protection for equipment where overvoltage protection is required. It also incorporates high ±25kV ESD HBM and an input common mode range (CMR) of ±25V, exceeding the ISO11898 specification of -2V to +7V. This makes these parts well-suited for applications that are in electrically noisy environments where the ground planes are shifting relative to each other. This family features a variety of options to address common CAN application requirements; logic-level supply input VL for interfacing with 1.62V to 3.6V logic, low-current standby mode, silent-mode to disable the transmitter, and a slow slew rate to minimize EMI.These devices operate at a high-speed CAN data rate, allowing up to 2Mbps on small networks. Maximum speed on large networks may be limited by the number of nodes in a network, the type of cabling used, stub length, and other factors. These transceivers include a dominant timeout to prevent bus lockup caused by controller error or by a fault on the TXD input. When TXD remains in the dominant state (low) for longer than TDOM, the driver is switched to the recessive state, releasing the bus. The MAX33053E features an S pin where it enables and disables the transmitter for applications where you need the transceiver to receive only. The MAX33054E features a STBY pin for 3 modes of operation; standby mode for low-current consumption, normal high-speed mode, or a slow slew rate mode when an external 26.1kΩ is connected between ground and STBY pin.The MAX33053E and MAX33054E are available in a standard 8-pin SOIC package and operate over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range.ApplicationsBuilding AutomationDroneIndustrial AutomationInstrumentationMotor ControlProgrammable Logic ControllerSmart Grid Equipment

MAX6062AEUR+T

Part Number : MAX6062AEUR+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX6061-MAX6068 are precision, low-dropout, micropower voltage references. These three-terminal devices operate with an input voltage range from (VOUT + 50mV typ) to 12.6V and are available with output voltage options of 1.25V, 1.8V, 2.048V, 2.5V, 3V, 4.096V, 4.5V, and 5V. They feature a proprietary curvature-correction circuit and laser-trimmed thin-film resistors that result in a very low temperature coefficient of 20ppm/°C (max) and an initial accuracy of ±0.2% (max). Specifications apply to the extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C).The MAX6061–MAX6068 typically draw only 90µA of supply current and can source 5mA or sink 2mA of load current. Unlike conventional shunt-mode (two-terminal) references that waste supply current and require an external resistor, these devices offer a supply current that is virtually independent of the supply voltage (8µA/V variation) and do not require an external resistor. Additionally, the internally compensated devices do not require an external compensation capacitor and are stable with up to 1µF of load capacitance. Eliminating the external compensation capacitor saves valuable board area in space-critical applications. Low dropout voltage and supply independent, ultra-low supply current make these devices ideal for battery-operated, high-performance, low-voltage systems. The MAX6061–MAX6068 are available in a 3-pin SOT23 package.ApplicationsA/D ConvertersCell PhonesNotebook ComputersPDAs, GPSs, DMMsPortable Battery-Powered SystemsPrecision 3V/5V Systems

MAX5216GUA+T

Part Number : MAX5216GUA+T

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX5214/MAX5216 are pin-compatible, 14-bit and 16-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs). The MAX5214/MAX5216 are single-channel, low-power, buffered voltage-output DACs. The devices use a precision external reference applied through the high resistance input for rail-to-rail operation and low system power consumption. The MAX5214/MAX5216 accept a wide 2.7V to 5.5V supply voltage range. Power consumption is extremely low to accommodate most low-power and low-voltage applications. These devices feature a 3-wire SPI-/QSPI™-/MICROWIRE-/DSP-compatible serial interface to save board space and to reduce the complexity in isolated applications. The MAX5214/MAX5216 minimize the digital noise feedthrough from input to output with SCLK and DIN input buffers powered down after completion of each serial input frame. On power-up, the MAX5214/MAX5216 reset the DAC output to zero, providing additional safety for applications that drive valves or other transducers that need to be off on power-up. The DAC output is buffered resulting in a low supply current of 80µA (max) and a low offset error of ±0.25mV. A zero level applied to the active-low CLR pin asynchronously clears the contents of the input and DAC registers and sets the DAC output to zero independent of the serial interface. The MAX5214/MAX5216 are available in an ultra-small (3mm x 5mm), 8-pin µMAX® package and are specified over the -40°C to +105°C extended industrial temperature range.Applications2-Wire SensorsAutomatic Test EquipmentAutomatic TuningCommunication SystemsGain and Offset AdjustmentPortable InstrumentationPower Amplifier ControlProcess Control and Servo LoopsProgrammable Voltage and Current Sources

MAX4172EUA+

Part Number : MAX4172EUA+

Analog Devices Inc.
The MAX4172 is a low-cost, precision, high-side current-sense amplifier for portable PCs, telephones, and other systems where battery/DC power-line monitoring is critical. High-side power-line monitoring is especially useful in battery-powered systems, since it does not interfere with the battery charger's ground path. Wide bandwidth and ground-sensing capability make the MAX4172 suitable for closed-loop battery-charger and general-purpose current-source applications. The 0 to 32V input common-mode range is independent of the supply voltage, which ensures that current-sense feedback remains viable, even when connected to a battery in deep discharge. To provide a high level of flexibility, the MAX4172 functions with an external sense resistor to set the range of load current to be monitored. It has a current output that can be converted to a ground-referred voltage with a single resistor, accommodating a wide range of battery voltages and currents. An open-collector power-good output (active-low PG) indicates when the supply voltage reaches an adequate level to guarantee proper operation of the current-sense amplifier. The MAX4172 operates with a 3.0V to 32V supply voltage, and is available in a space-saving, 8-pin µMAX® or SO package.ApplicationsBattery-Powered ApplicationsClosed-Loop Battery Chargers/Current SourcesEnergy ManagementPortable PCs: Notebooks, Subnotebooks, PalmtopsPortable Test/Measurement SystemsPortable/Cellular PhonesSmart Battery Packs/Chargers
