TI's DRV91680 and DRV91690 are three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motor controllers and predrivers. Only requiring external FETs, they are integrated solutions providing necessary analog and digital peripherals to create a robust motor solution. Having a programmable MSP430 core, the DRV91680 and DRV91690 are capable of controlling both sensored and sensorless motors by simply downloading the respective application code. This guide describes the application code for sensored motor control using Hall-effect sensors.
This application report describes how to set the Microsoft® Windows® environment variables for correct I2C™ operation of the TAS5717EVM and TAS5719EVM evaluation modules (EVMs). The proper environment variables must be set in order for the TAS5717 and TAS5719 amplifiers to communicate properly over the I2C interface.
Throughout this document, the abbreviation TAS57xx applies to the entire family of related devices, unless otherwise indicated.
