Description

The first section of this 100-page book describes digital signal processing algorithms such as tone generation (including DTMF) voice compression/decompression (ADPCM) acoustic echo cancellation and caller-id used in telephony. The second section discusses each functional block of analog data and facsimile (fax) modem and provides descriptions of the processes within each block.
