Description
The PMP15002 is a highly efficient: universal AC input to 5V 3A output reference design for cost-optimized adapter and charger applications. The topology is primary-side regulated quasi resonant flyback with synchronous rectification. With the use of primary-side regulation: it eliminates the need of optical coupler and other external compensation components. This design can pass EN55022 class B conducted and radiated EMI. The efficiency and no-load power consumption of this design meet the EU’s Code of Conduct: Version 5: Tier 2 standard.
