Description

PMP4354 demonstrates an innovative buck solution for 10W A-lamp LED lighting. TPS92210 is used in the design to control high side FET running in QR mode with valley switching. TPS92210's cascode architecture also helps reduce switching loss and eliminates external sense resistor. The efficiency is >90% typically and the current regulation is <+/-3%. The transformer is eliminated in the design which eases the design and reduces overall cost.
