PMP6012 reference design presents the TPS92690Q1 DC-DC controller driving a 18V to 35V string of LEDs at 750mA of current in a Cuk configuration. The Cuk topology features continuous input and output currents which helps reduce EMI and also allows one end of the LED string to connect to common ground allowing for a single wire system.
