Extended Common-mode Range RS-485 Reference Design
Description
This reference design provides a 500kbps 5V RS-485 interface using the SN65HVD22 extended common-mode RS-485 transceiver. The extended -20 V to 25 V Common-Mode Voltage Range: more than double the TIA/EIA-485 requirement: providing robust signal integrity and enabling use in long cable networks
