NFC Authentication for an EV Charging Station (Pile) Reference Design
Description
The TIDC-EVSE-NFC reference design showcases a straightforward integration of TI’s NFC technology with an existing EVSE platform to enable user authentication. The NFC standard comprises many different sub-technologies and working groups: making integration into a specific system difficult. My leveraging the proven reference designs: and certified software in this design: we can ensure that the standards are met: as well as simplify the development process. This design incorporates only basic functionality for an operational system: but the example software included shows how simple it is to integrate NFC into an EVSE design.
