mmWave diagnostic and monitoring reference design

Description

This reference design showcases the inbuilt autonomous monitoring functionality in mmWave radar sensors that enhances system efficiency by minimizing the processing load on the host. The design uses a safety diagnostic library (SDL) to run diagnostic tests on programmable digital cores: peripherals and memories. The reference design also configures and enables RF/analog monitor features of different hardware components. By assisting the user to implement their ASIL-B/SIL2-compliant products with various safety resources: this design lessens overall development time and time to market.
